Originally from Mooresville, North Carolina, Dr. White moved south to attend Auburn University where she graduated with a degree in Animal Sciences and a minor in Business. She was fortunate to continue her education at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2026 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
An avid hunter-jumper rider since the age of eight, Dr. White credits her interest in veterinary medicine to her first gelding, Oliver, who was diagnosed with Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) during her junior riding career. That experience sparked her dedication to helping horses perform and feel their best.
Throughout veterinary school, Dr. White worked as a student worker in the Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine’s Equine Hospital where she cared for hospitalized patients and assisted clinicians with emergency cases. She also completed multiple equine externships at leading equine hospitals across the country, gaining experience in a variety of practice settings and expanding her knowledge of medicine. She has a special interest in sports medicine and general practice with a strong appreciation for helping equine athletes stay healthy and perform at their highest level.
Outside of work, Dr. White enjoys training and competing with her Westphalian gelding, Doodle, hanging out with her dogs, Dutton and Emmy, and traveling to visit friends and family.
She is excited to build relationships with Countryside’s customers and provide compassionate, high-quality care to both horses and their owners.
