Countryside Equine Hospital is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a new Associate Veterinarian to our privately and independently owned practice. If you’re looking for a progressive, team-oriented environment that values high-quality equine medicine and the relationships we build with our customers, we’d love to meet you. Our mission is simple: to redefine excellence in veterinary care. From elite sport horses to beloved pasture pets, we work hard to support the health, performance, and longevity of every horse we serve.
We understand that when a customer reaches out to us, it’s often one of their worst days. Our goal is to go above and beyond to make their day better— providing not only expert care but also comfort and clarity during an overwhelming time.
We are currently a three-doctor practice supported by a fantastic team of dedicated staff members. In June, we are excited to be adding an intern to our practice to better support our staff and customers. We are proud to serve our customers both in the field through our ambulatory services and at our fully equipped hospital in Covington, Georgia. Our doctors also enjoy a varied caseload involving advanced internal medicine workups, emergency care, sports medicine, podiatry, and dentistry.
All of our ambulatory vehicles are prepared to deliver high-quality care in the field, offering portable diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and stall-side testing of lactate, insulin, and serum amyloid A (SAA).
Our hospital provides a surgical suite, padded recovery stall, 9-stall barn, three treatment rooms, and expanded in-house laboratory capabilities such as CBC and chemistry testing. We are committed to utilizing advanced technology— including a brand-new bone scan, Tenex, endoscopy, and shockwave and laser therapies— to provide comprehensive care.
We’re looking for a veterinarian who is committed to practicing a higher standard of veterinary medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment and who truly values educating and connecting with customers. Mentorship is available for newer graduates, while experienced veterinarians will enjoy the autonomy to grow their own caseload and interests.
We offer a competitive base salary with a production-based bonus structure. For over 35 years, our doors have remained open, proudly providing 24/7/365 emergency services. Our doctors enjoy a 4-day work week with shared on-call responsibilities among our associate veterinarians.
